One Year
It’s extraordinary to look back and see what has (or hasn’t) happened in one year. Where you thought you’d be, and where you actually are. Who you thought would be in your life, and who decided not to show up. Growing up and moving on or not giving up and dwelling. For being yourself in the moments you thought you couldn’t and then hiding yourself in the most ridiculous of places. For moving forward for every one step back. Believing in your dreams in the moments you wanted to give up, and giving chances to people that never deserved it. For this is just another day added to another week, another month, another season, another year, another decade, another life. But it’s your life. So you continue to live it. Don’t let anyone else do it for you. Take the reigns and ride.
